Ridgecrest Designs was excited to take on this entire house remodel project. The kitchen is a perfect blend of traditional and modern. The traditional shaker cabinetry with large crown molding contrasts the ultra-modern alder wood valence above the kitchen perimeter, with matching cabinets encasing the range hood. A waterfall edge quartz island with alder cabinetry adds another element of sophistication. Elegant pendants, handmade Encore crackle glaze tile and clean-lined hardware make this kitchen a true blend of the two styles. The entertainment cabinet in the living room ties in with the kitchen cabinetry using alder wood with faux division lines. The wine niche in the dining room, made of raw iron and reclaimed wood, stores up to 54 bottles on the wall-mounted racks. We made the staircase clean and simple with rectangular white balusters and iron posts. While the bones and layout of the Master Bathroom worked perfectly for the family, it needed a serious style update. We went with a very modern and contemporary look that was warm and textured. Slide open the walnut barn door to reveal the stunning vignette of a starburst chandelier hanging over a bathtub that begs to be bathed in. The master bath also features two his and hers closet doors to match the sliding entry door, sleek polished nickel bath fixtures, floor-to-ceiling tile and an expertly-crafted walnut vanity. The gray cabinetry in the Kid's Bath provides a fresh, neutral backdrop for any kind of decor that can change over time.
